I'm Kat! I was born in Utah, raised in Texas, and am now living in Alberta, Canada. Ever since I can remember, I've loved art. I would spend hours coloring and doing crafts with my mom when I was little. It wasn't until I began Junior High that I really started to get into thinking about artwork as more than just a hobby. I started taking art classes through Junior High and through High School, where I spent many, many hours working on my pieces. During my time in High School, I won several regional and state awards. In 2010, I began going to college to obtain a bachelor of fine arts degree. It was in college where I found my love of watercolor. I had never used watercolor before 2012, but as soon as I started, I loved it and I took to it very fast.  I achieved my degree in 2015 and was one of the very last people at the University of North Texas to graduate with a BFA with a concentration in watercolor.

Since graduating, I have gotten married and have started a family, but I always make time for my art. I opened an Etsy account to sell my work and make custom pieces. I've done many commissions over the last five years and am loving every minute of it. In 2019, I did my very fist mural and have gone on to do 3 more since then with plans to do more very soon. I have also gotten into tattooing and hope to one day be a tattoo artist. Join me on my journey as I learn more about who I am and what I can accomplish.
